We pick you up and head for the Sverresborg open-air folk museum placed around the ruins of King Sverre’s castle, which dates all the way back to 1183. Learn about the Norwegian Civil War period and Trondheims very important place in Norwegian history.

Explore the traditional buildings from town and country, mountains and coast as well as Sami huts and city mansions in a village style setting.
Enjoy the view from the castle ruins and discover the hidden truths behind the sagas of the Norwegian Kings. Browse the gift shop for a handmade traditional Norwegian gift for your loved ones.

After all the exploring we have worked up an appetite. We will enjoy lunch at the famous Egon Tower. A revolving restaurant with a spectacular view over the town, the surrounding hills, valleys and the lovely Trondheim fjord.
